Buy prices are worked out with the game's own formula (about 52 weeks of rent, adjusted by neighbourhood tier). The in-game economy can nudge prices; check Phone → Houses before you commit.
How rent works
- Due: every Saturday at 9 AM Lagos time. Every home you rent pays its own rent.
- Moving in: 2 weeks' rent in advance + 1 week for "Agent & agreement".
- Falling behind: owe two weeks or more and the landlord moves you to Mushin.
- Moving cities: your old home can be reclaimed once, free, from Phone → Houses → "Get your home back".
- House staff: wages also come off on Saturday. If you can't pay, they pack and leave.
Buying a house
Open Phone → Houses, pick a home and choose "Buy it outright". You never pay rent on it again and it counts toward your net worth at what you paid. Sell it later for 80% of the price. You can own up to 20 homes, and you can also buy land and build on it from Phone → Invest.
